
You'll create your video book report in Animoto, using photos you find online in Flickr Creative Commons.
Requirements:
About 2 minutes long
Include:
a Title slide (with your name)
a photo of your book and its author
Two favorite quotations from the book
photos to isuggest character, setting, plot and theme/symbols
A works cited slide to document your photos and soundtrack
Musical soundtrack to enhance the presentation

AP Photos: Click on "Link to Individual Resources." In the pop-up window, you'll find AP Images in the center column, about 2/3 of the way down. Select it. It will load behind the "Resources" window, so only click once!

Do your photos decorate, illustrate or illuminate? Strive for the latter--photos that reveal the meanings/ideas behind your book, suggest feelings and mood.

Script:
Intro: Include book title/author and a 3-4 sentence plot summary. (about 30 seconds)
Body: Describe what you liked (or didn't like!) about the book--think about characters, setting, plot, theme. (about 1:15)
Closing: Do you recommend the book? For whom? End with a strong statement! (about 15 seconds)
